Good health and vitality are essential for everyone, as these enhance natural resilience and strengthen the immune system.

Because this is so important for us, Amsterdam UMC is conducting research into the self-healing capabilities of people and exploring what actions you can take to improve your health and vitality. This study will be done from January 6th to the end of April 2025.

The intervention program used in this study is the Body & Mind Vitality program. This online program is freely available starting today and throughout the entire study period. In this way you can experience yourself at home with the app what this program means for you.

Employers can request their own registration page, where all employees can sign up for free to follow the program at home with the app.

Explanation of the study

The research program of Amsterdam UMC is conducted from January 6th to the end of April 2025. You can sign up to participate in the online Body & Mind Vitality program for free, from today until May 1st 2025. 

Employers can request their own registration page, in exchange for a small sponsorship contribution, allowing all employees to register for free through that page and to participate at home with the app. For more information and details on how this works, visit the employer’s page on this website.

The Body & Mind Vitality program is intended as a supplement to regular health care and we advise you to always consult a doctor in case of illness or health complaints.

Objectives of the Study

  • This study aims to demonstrate that through a comprehensive program of breathing exercises, meditation, yoga, nutritional advice, mindfulness and more, people can activate their self-healing capabilities and enhance their natural resilience, leading to improved health and vitality.
  • The strength of this vitality program lies in inspiring and supporting people to enhance their own health and vitality. Employers also play a crucial role in supporting this, which can lead to health benefits for both employees and the organization. Therefore, employers can request their own registration page, where all employees can sign up for free.
  • A unique aspect of this study is that stress-related symptoms will not only be measured using traditional scientific methods, such as questionnaires, but the results will also be assessed with advanced technical instruments like MRI and UPE.
  • The online Body & Mind Vital program of the study is available for free to everyone who wants to participate from home, starting today to May 1st 2025.

Structure of the Body & Mind Vitality Program
During the Research Period

During the four months of the study, each month will focus on a specific theme. To support you, each week there will be four livestream sessions, which you can join to stimulate your self-healing capabilities and enhance your natural resilience. 

You can participate in all livestream workshops and sessions with the app and all sessions will be available as videos afterward. 

You can sign up today and participate for free until May 1st 2025. If after this trial period you have experienced  that the program truly benefits you, it is possible to subscribe for 3 months at €12.50 or for a full year at €39. 

Each monthly program includes the following elements

Workshops

Each season we work with a theme, which is explained in our theme workshop. There are also workshops by our breathing specialist and our nutritionist teaches you how tasty and healthy food can improve your health. The workshops 'loving touch' as ​​well as 'Gestalt-Art therapy' are also highly recommended in our program.

Inspiration

Each month, you will receive our newsletter with information about the monthly program. During the sessions and workshops, you will gain knowledge, practical tools, and learn some practical exercises. You will become more aware of what you can do to enhance your natural resilience and improve your health. This will inspire you to take action and apply these insights in your own life.

Meditation

There are 3 different meditations every week, namely relaxation, improve your energy and the compassion meditation. These help you to relax, so that your body can recover and your natural resistance is strengthened. This way you improve your health and vitality. Everyone can follow these meditations and you can do it in your own familiar environment.

Yoga

The weekly yoga sessions are easy to do for everyone and support the monthly theme. There is a strong focus on breathing and relaxation. These yoga sessions aim to provide you with practical exercises, that you can use to improve your health and vitality. Experience it for yourself by joining from home. These yoga sessions will help you to improve your vitality and the flexibility of your body.
